The Tax Practitioners' Institute is a two day overview, Live and Group-Internet Based Program. There are no prerequisites or advanced preparation needed for this course. This course is recommended for Certified Public Accountants, Registered Tax Return Preparers, Enrolled Agents, Insurance Providers, Financial Planners and Lawyers. The program knowledge level of the Institute is considered to be basic. Advanced preparation: None. One copy of the 2025 Federal Tax Workbook is included in your participant registration fee. Additional books can be purchased for $99 each.
This instructor led, two-day course is a tax update seminar focused on various current developments in federal taxation, tax planning opportunities, and tax compliance issues. This course is intended for tax professionals and is designed to provide up-to-date information on federal tax updates and federal tax law.
We will also be offering a two hour Ethics Course on Day One. This instructor lead course on ethics is designed to help the tax return preparer understand ethical considerations. This ethics in tax practice session will include information on knowledge of client’s omission, diligence as to accuracy, conflicting interests, best practices for tax advisors, competence and incompetence and disreputable conduct. The focus will be putting ethics into practice. The rules and regulations governing the tax profession and the practical application of these rules in the daily operation of their businesses.
The University of North Dakota Conference Services is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. Stephanie Stollar is passionate about using MTSS as the framework for helping all students become skilled readers. She’s the founder of the Reading Science Academy, an online community where over a thousand educators support each other to improve results in their schools.
Dr. Stollar also advises the next generation of education policy leaders in her role as an assistant professor at Mount St. Joseph University. She served as a Vice President at Acadience Learning, provided training and consultation to hundreds of school districts, worked as an Assistant Professor of School Psychology, and as a School Psychologist.
Dr. Stollar believes that by supporting all educators, high achievement is possible for every student.

Welcome to 2025 Pages & Pathways: PreK - 12 Science of Learning Conference! Join us at the Memorial Union on the UND campus for an unforgettable experience filled with excitement, inspiration, and connection. The Pages & Pathways conference is an opportunity for regional educators to come to UND for a day full of learning on Literacy, STEM, and Well-Being topics. This year, we will feature a mix of 1-hour sessions and 2-hour workshops. This offers the opportunity for teachers to explore a lot of material or to dive deep into a few topics. There will be sessions on the Science of Reading, literacy family engagement, mastery learning, effective grading practices, engineering design, teacher burnout, and much more! In addition to learning sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with exhibitors from around the area and collaborate with each other over a provided lunch time.

Dr. Kelli Odden is the Dean and Division Chair of the Division of Education at Mayville State University. Dr. Odden has 33 years and counting of teaching experience in elementary, special education, early childhood, and as an administrator. She teaches diversity, special education, and early childhood courses at Mayville State University.
Dr. Odden is actively involved in the National Association for Early Childhood Teacher Educators as the organization’s President-Elect. Her research interests focus on social and emotional guidance in early childhood, adult mental health, educational leadership, humor as a teaching strategy, and relationship building as a teaching tool. Working with professionals in the field and pre-service teachers daily is an absolute joy!
